Aliza Woolsey
Hi! I am Aliza Woolsey from Milford, Utah. I am a senior in high school, I play 4 sports, work for Smithfield Foods, and help on my family’s farm! I have been involved in the agriculture industry my whole life. I have shown sheep from the time I was three years old, and have loved every minute of it! I am an Accounting Intern for Smithfield Foods. My dad has worked for Smithfield for over 20 years, so I have learned my fair share about the Pork Industry. I love the pork industry and I wanted to help represent it because everyone can be involved without even touching a pig! I also want to help the pork industry gain a better public image by educating the public about the love and care put into each pig. My goals after high school is to graduate college, and find out what my calling in life is going to be. I plan on keeping agriculture in my life no matter what path I take. I am so excited to be a 2020 Youth Pork Ambassador!
Brooklyn Petersen
Hi I’m Brooklyn Petersen from Delta, UT. I am a senior at Delta High School, I’m involved in FFA and have been showing pigs since the age of nine! My family owns a small scale pig farm where we raise, breed, and sell show pigs. Outside of showing pigs I enjoy hunting, baking, being outdoors, and telling jokes to make people laugh. After graduating this May, I plan to go to Snow College and further my education. I’m excited for the opportunity to be one of Utah’s Pork Ambassadors this year and help educate people about the pork industry.

I plan to attend Southern Utah University in the fall where I would like to study Elementary Education. I have helped at Farm Field Days for several years and I have a work release class at Belknap Elementary School teaching in 1st grade. I would like to teach kids especially the importance of agriculture and where our food really comes from. Thank you for the opportunity you have given me to serve as a Utah Pork Ambassador for the next year.
