Caroline Regis

My name is Caroline Regis. I am junior in college at Utah State University. Go Aggies! I’m studying dietetics with the goal of becoming a registered dietetican. I really enjoy health and nutrition; and I love to eat, learn, and talk about food. I’m looking forward to being a pork ambassador this year. I’m excited to get involved in the community and in this industry!

Jaxsten Thayn

Hi! My name is Jaxsten Thayn, I live in Elmo Utah, I am currently a Junior
at Emery High school. I have been raising and showing livestock ever since
I was 5 years old. I got involved in the swine industry when I was 8 years
old. That was when I got my first show pig. Ever Since then I have been
showing pigs through 4-H and FFA. Some of the most important life
lessons I have learned have been through showing pigs. I enjoy teaching
younger kids my passion for showing pigs. I’m excited to be a Utah Pork
Producer Ambassador and learn more about the pork industry.

Josie Platt

Hi, my name is Josie Platt. I am a junior at Utah State University, majoring in agricultural education with the goal of becoming a high school agriculture teacher. I am from Cache Valley, Utah, and was raised on our family’s hobby farm. Growing up, I had the privilege of working alongside my family, participating in a wide range of farm tasks. This experience taught me valuable lessons in harvesting crops, and caring for and processing our livestock, which included beef and pork, which then helped deepen my understanding of production agriculture. My passion for agriculture stems from its crucial role in our future, and I am optimistic about the possibilities it holds. I find joy in discovering ways to educate and inspire future generations to actively engage in agriculture, much like the past agriculturists who inspired me.

Macy Rankin

Hi all! My name is Macy Rankin, I am a current student at Utah State University, and am studying to become a High School Ag teacher. I grew up in a small town in Southeastern Idaho and love everything outdoors. Starting as a young Freshman in high school, I was introduced to many FFA competitions in my Chapter, but one of my all-time favorites was showing pigs at the Fremont County Fair. I have loved being part of different organizations that teach about livestock and agriculture as a whole. It is my goal as a current advocate for Ag, and as a future educator, to teach others about where their food comes from and how we all have a place in creating a sustainable future.
