Current Pork Leadership Ambassadors

Wyatt Nebeker
Hi, my name is Wyatt Nebeker, and I am currently studying Agricultural Education at Utah State University. For the past eight years, I have been raising pigs, butit quickly grewinto more of a passion of mine when I joined FFA. Through FFA I was able to start my own breeding operation, further deepening my interest in the industry. Alongside raising pigs, I have also worked for my family’s landscape company, gaining valuable hands-on experience. I hope to apply these skills and experiences to my future career as an agricultural educator.

Peter Wall
I am a junior at Utah State University studying animal Dairy and Veterinary Science. My end goal is to attend law school for a Juris Doctorate, followed by an LLM in agriculture and food law. I hope to practice law specifically as it relates to American agriculture and food production. Since attending Utah State University I have worked substantially with pigs. I love how efficient and effective they are as a food source, and I also love the taste of bacon, so becoming a pork leadership ambassador is a win for me!

Jaren Webb
Hi, my name is Jaren Webb and I live in Beaver, Utah and attend Beaver High School. I have been involved with agriculture my whole life learning from my grandpa’s ranch where he raises, sheep, and horses. I have shown steers and lambs at the Southwest Livestock Show and the Utah State Fair. I am a member of Beaver High School FFA, and play football, basketball, and baseball for Beaver High School. I am also a member of Beaver Youth City
Council, Beaver County Junior Fair Board, and Beaver 4-H Teen Council. I am grateful for the opportunity to
represent Utah Pork Producers as an ambassador and excited to help educate consumers where their food comes from and the important role that the pork industry plays in Utah and American agriculture.

Maren Isom
Hello. My name is Maren Isom and I am a senior at Mountain Crest High School. I have lived in Wellsville, Utah almost all my life. I am one of five children in my family. I have a twin sister and we do everything together. Throughout my life, I have played many sports but soccer has been my main sport. I also love to play the piano and have been playing for many years. After I graduate, I plan to serve an LDS mission and I am very excited for it. I plan on going to school after my mission to become a nurse. I have always loved being involved in the medical field and I’m excited to do so. I have had a lot of experiences working on the farm and the ranch. I have spent many hours outside on the ranch and the farm helping my family with the work that needs to be done. I help brand, vaccinate, and castrate cows every year out and I frequently go out and herd cattle. I also enjoy helping cut, rake, bale, and stack hay. I love farm life and although I’m less familiar with the pork industry than other aspects of agriculture, I look forward to learning more and educating others about the benefits of pork and the pork industry in Utah! I am so glad I was chosen to be a Pork Ambassador for the Utah Pork Producers Association.
